    Questions on No.1 MkI

I recently was givin an Enfield Rifleicon. It is a 1907 and was made by BSA. It says MkI and has two astrisks and a star behind the MkI stamping. I was wondering if anyone would be able to provide me with additional information if i supplied a number of pictures. The serial number is the same on the bolt handle, sight, reciever and barrel. The reciever has been re-marked to match. Also it has a large dial style sight and peep hole on the side oppisate of the action. Any help would be greaty appriciated. Thanks.

    Lee Enfield Mark 1***

Most Mark 1*** rifles have their original serial numbers lined-out and a new serial with a ER or CR and sometimes a G prefix on the new number. More difficult (my opinion) to find are the Mark 1*** rifles with the original numberAttachment 15963Attachment 15962
