My affordable attempt at the "T" model.

    1943 BSA equiped with the S&K mount and a 1952 Weaver K4 tri-post and a 1942 dated M1907 sling.

My poor attempt at the "cross hair" shot.

Cheek rest is next on the list.

    What do you guys think?

That looks great, I like the way you have used a mount that doesn't damage the action. Rather than drill into the original butt why not buy a new butt and fit the cheekpiece to that? You'll always have the untouched original parts that way.

    Well done,

    Curly

Thanks Curly, I am one of those guys who strongly dislikes ruining perfection or shall we say " bubbatizing". Like you suggested, getting a seperate buttstock for the repro rest is a great idea.

    I like it.
I have a slightly 'used' No4 Mk1 that I was thinking of making a replica with. I have looked at Peter Laidlericon's excellent articles and the temptation is great... except I don't like drilling holes ( did that once before, regret it now ). Although technically 'wrong', this setup maight be the answer.

yeah it is technically wrong but it was almost $400 cheaper than building a real T which would still be wrong lol
