    Greek Bren

Does anyone speak Greek? I found this sticker on the Butt of a Bren Mk1 and I would like to know what it means. I bet it means SCRAP or somthing like that.

Ah, yes. He means that the Lambda sensor on his exhaust has caused the lambda sensor warning light to light up and it's giving off a sigma coloured glow.

It reminds me oif a label I found tied to an old No32 Mk1 telescope I had many many years ago. It was written cyrillic and there seemed to be a fair bit of writing on it. I must have been asleep during my cyrillic lessons at school so I had to get some advice and, cyrillic not being the most widely spoken language in Oxford, meant a bit of a trawl. Eventually I got there (a bit like this story............) and the old boy looked at it, read the note, peered down and up, over the top of his glasses and asked '.....have you got the rest of it?' to which I replied '....nope!'. He replied'.......that's a shame because it says '......do not separate from the rifle'

Where were we now......... But from this and my lambda answer, you can see that while I was asleep during my cyrillic lessons, I was awake during my greek lessons

Lambda?? Isnt that a Dance Peter?.............!!! Advice from my Dad, he used to shoot crocs in West Africa when he was seconded to the RWAFF. 'Always go for an eye shot where possible. Thier hide is SO tough, at certain angle's. A bullet CAN be deflected by it'!! (Hope this helps!!)
    Cheers.

There's no question those are three names: Apostoli, Achilles, and Kokkinoti (the last uncertain, but probably somebody whose nickname was "Red"). I doubt if it's only one person.
