Mac..... The overall length is 1.140. Powder is suppose to have 1600 grains per pound or so a good friend of mine tells me. Even at that with 47 grains of powder a pound goes quickly. I'm making them for about 35 cents a round. You don't say where you are located so I would suggest a large outdoor sports store near you or call the small gun shops in your area. Some of them are fairly well stocked in reloading supplies or may order them for you. And those Privi bullets have a very good reputation. Oh and when it comes to reloading for the rifle it will be a very intresting journey

    Grindels Sales
    Grindel Ammunition

If you run a search you will find dozens of sites that offer .30 that maybe near you. Bulk is usually a lot cheaper.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Im in massachusetts, locally the selection sucks on powder and bullets. @ the current prices I paid and grains used im @ .53 per load. I way over paid for the bullets I currently have compared to other sources. Its a long drive to any BIG store so the drive is about equal to shipping expenses.

I shot my 1st 60 rounds today. Beat my last score...........All 60 went bang and cycled with out issues. As far as acurracy? I had a lot more in the black and bit tighter groups than anything before but my trigger finger, eyes and concertration went out the window @ about the 32nd round. Im still horrible @ rapid fire.

Seat any bullet you shoot through that only to mag length. You never seat to the lands on a Garand or M14icon. Slam fire risk, you don't want to blow up your gun. Don't shoot anything heavier than a 175gr Sierra Matchking either. Riley's in Hooksett NH, take a ride they'll have what you need.

No bulk bullets at all. Well they had a few guys with some cast bullets that seemed like good prices.

Jeff Bartlett sells surplus bullets and brass via mail order. Search his name it will come up. Bass Pro Shops down by Gillette Stadium had a good selection of bullets too, Kittery is hit or miss, usually miss, Riley's is good and may have bulk 147-150gr FMJ, call them. If not you'll have to mail order them. Check Powder Valley, Wideners, Natchez, or search bulk bullets. Midway USAicon definately will have them but you'll probably have to ship them to a friend in NH or ME. Winchester and Hornady are real good for bulk.
