Canadian Rangers Article - Lee Enfield content

Cover story in the latest issue of "Up Here" magazine.

"Embedded with the Canadianicon Rangers". Good story and includes a photo album w/ lots of Enfield shots. Link to the article is below the picture.

But, he concedes a few frustrations, too. “The worst part of all this is ... we have these antique guns,” Eddie says. “It’s hard to get parts for them. A lot of them have bent barrels.”

Ah, the old bent barrel problem. Explains a lot of misses that one does.

“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”

    Edward Bernays, 1928

Much changes, much remains the same.

My Ranger buddies, when I was living in the Northwest Territories, were quite proud of their Lee Enfields. No bent barrels in that group.
