Fake M1A1 Jump Bag ID ?

Is there an easy way to ID repro M1A1icon jump bags? I've just purchased a Harian 44-marked one that looks too good to be true. It has no wear and no classic web gear smell. I have to say that the workmanship is excellent, though. TIA for any pointers.

Can you post pictures? That's the best way to get opinions here.
There's really no other way to determine if it's real or not.

Many years ago one of the large surplus stores here had a stack of M1icon Carbine cases in new condition. They had been properly stored to prevent mildew so there was no musty odor to speak of.

    Pictures can tell all.

My Harian 44 is near mint without any excess odor.

Here's some pics from the auction which hopefully will tell the tale. I did find one other clue inside the bag - a scrap of yellowed newspaper with just a few letters on it which has a 40s look to it. I'll keep my fingers crossed and welcome your opinions. This thing is mint if it's real.Attachment 17548Attachment 17549Attachment 17550Attachment 17551Attachment 17552Attachment 17553Attachment 17554Attachment 17555Attachment 17556

Look at the maker name and numbers 44. Same font and spacing as mine. I'd say good to go on it.

I had a new proper smelling, 44 Atlas Awning bag, I think there was some pockets of un-issued bags that were minty out there. One of the local gun show guys came up with half a table full of new full size carry case's about 5 years back. He spent a whole year selling them off at $150 each.
Not to say it's the rule but I spent along time looking for a 43 Khaki M1A1icon bag and the only re-pops I found were really bad re-pops.

    Congratulations Tristan!
it's in outstanding condition and I agree with Jim that it's 'right as rain'.

It proves once again that there are still prizes out there.

    Thanks for sharing!
