A few Japanese snipers

Here are a few Japanese snipers, all of which I have fired plus a few others. Guess I need a few more scopes so some are lacking scopes. Picked up one scope since these photos. I mentioned on the accuracy thread that many of these are capable of 1.5-2 inch 5 shot groups and a Kokura 99 sniper with a very cloudy scope shot the best group of any I have fired with a 0.84 inch 5 shot group at 100 yds with Norma.

Enfield303t. I have been at it quite a while. Once I decided I just had to collect snipers, especially those from WW2, it just got out of hand. A major goal was to find out for myself just how accurate they were and who fielded the best rifle. As a result I have collected quite a few, shot a bunch and am pretty well addicted. As far as the answer to who fielded the best rifle I can say for sure regarding accuracy that most will put 3 or 4 of 5 shots at 100 yds inside an inch but the flyers make most groups in the 1.5-2.5 inch range when using good ammo. I need to shoot more German examples(way silly expensive) before I will try to start another fight over which may be the best. Rest assured that the Japanese examples were pretty darn good, scopes had good optics and were fairly solid but only one rare version was adjustable in the field. The biggest surprise was the lowly mass produced Russian PU, which can hold its own with the best of them.
