19,000 'Durban Police' Enfields Released Onto The Market

How long before we see reports of 'Catastrophic Failures' of an Enfield ?

There does seem to have been a plethora of DP rifles about in the last few weeks this will make the situation even 'worse' for those who dont understand "DP".
It may mean, however, an abundance of 'bits & pieces' for them as want to rebuild a Bubba rifle.

"Listed on the Springfield Sporters home page is 18 to 19 THOUSAND Enfield drill rifles for $500,000.00
    Any takers"

Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Shoot, $25 for an enfield, I'd be in!!!!

It is a little scary that they're being so up front that they're drill rifles, these might be like the ones that came out of the basements in Nepal, seriously fully corroded ...

How big of a pile is 19,000 rifles, in shipping containers? Reckon they're in the US already?

And, last but not least, I wonder what SS are hanging onto in the way of spares and other goodies ....
