Well that SUCKS. that B2 M10 match looked most excellent. Can we import on a personal basis?

Not AFAIK. Has to do with Vietnamese parts or some nonsense. We get inner tubes from them, why not wood?

The AIA Lee Enfield clones are jewels. They are very accurate as long as the shooter does his/her part.
My B2 M10 match will shoot consistently into 1/2moa with surplus IVI ammunition. It will also do it with Hirtenberger and South African surplus. At different POIs of course for each type.

There was a lot of nasty goings on over the AIA rifles in the US and also a bit of bad sentiment between the US importer and the Austrailian company.

In Canada, some no mind decided to run an "unsafe to shoot" campaign that was based on emotion rather than fact. I would love to get one of the 7.62x39, downsized models but the price is way out of my range. To bad. Now I have to build one on an old mauser action with spares laying around the shop.

I bought a 7.62x39mm AIA at Gander Mountain in the US about 18 months ago. If they are not in the US, do I have to send it back?

and was disappointed to find out I can't get one here in the States. Even at $1000 or so it's still much less expensive than an L42.
