    Traded For Two H&R M14s

I just traded for two H&R M14s in VG condition, one is a low serial 5 digit number and the other one has 6 numbers. I would rather have had a Winchester and a TRW, but I just couldn't turn down the deal. One has a synthetic stock but has had a rubber pad installed I may be able to take the rubber part off and install the correct butt plate. I will be able to get a better look at it when I go to pick them up in a week or two.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I had H&R serial 434343 some time back. It was brand new and had no issues. I would have rather had a Springfield myself. Wonder where it is today?
