    Advice solicitation on gri grenade rifle

    Hi all so IM getting around to cleaning here up ... Still cosmo all over.

    Would you remove the wire wrap? If so would u try to rewrap it with this wire or use new wire in the prescribed methodology that I think I saw in a knowledge base article

    I would really like to get to totally stripped to metal and clean her up from the ground up

    thoughts???

    I personally wouldn't un-wrap it but I understand the clean up thing. I guess you'll have to to do that. I would try to use the original wire if possible so be careful. It may turn out as good as new. By the by, we'll need pics on before and after.

    Just my two cents, but I wouldn't unwrap it either ...

    I'm with Doug on this one. leave it as it is. Clean what you can and remove anything that isn't wrapped if needed but if you remove the wire it won't be original anymore.

    ALL Very good points........

    I'll leave the wire wrap as is and just look to clean up and around it as best as I can..freakin cosmo is insane to get off ! in nooks and crannies...

    Well looks like Friday night I am going to start it....let's see how it goes....
