    Nice Rifles for Sale

I mentioned to another member that I am amazed at the Enfields that have been showing up for sale lately. Most recently we saw a No1 MkVI sell on GB, then an unaltered Trials Rifles on Joe Salter, and now there is another MkVI for sale and a Pattern 13 (.276).

I would love to wake up and find all of these under the tree on December 25, but at the prices these are selling for, it is not going to happen.

Both from the same seller .....

I sent him three (3) emails under the "Ask seller a question" and never had the courtesy of a reply to any them, so I'd be cautious in dealing with him ...

Enfield NO1 Mark VI : Other at GunBroker.com

Besides the rear sight having been altered, an Advisory Panelicon member mentioned to me that the magazine cut-off is also not orignal.

    Enfield Pattern 13 (P13) : Other at GunBroker.com

    Regards,
    Doug

I was considering bidding on the MkVI when it was still at $1,200, but it is currently at $3,780, which is too high for me. As a side note, the current high bidder on both was high bidder on another auction and the seller had to repost due to non-payment / no contact.

    That's interesting ...

Perhaps if this bidder wins, then he won't reply to the seller's emails, which for me would be poetic justice ....

Someone should send the seller a link to this thread under "Ask seller a question" before his auction expires ...

    Regards,
    Doug
