    value/safety of iver johnson carbine ??

    maybe a bit off topic. but i do have a m1a1 inland. i ran across a iver johnson ss 50th aniversary. nice looking gun, but ive heard some bad things about the commercial carbines. this one being staineless steel and an iver johnson i was hope for some feed back from someone that have or has had one. also curious about value? TIA steve.

    Stainless Iver Johnson carbines were short lived. I knew of one that had feed issues because of the galling during machining the slide and receiver channel. The guy had to grease it up to function somewhat smooth. Probably in the $450 to 500 range maybe.
