    Am I addicted?

My wife says so. She has accused me of trying to "start a half way house for abused guns" lol.
I don't even slow down for the shiny new Winchesters. Remingtons or Brownings but go directly to the back where they keep the "less than desirable" firearms. I spend hours surfing the web for parts and information. She just may be right.

It's not an addiction, unless you can make yourself stop. I think of it as an incurable disease. There is no cure.

rumplehardt, there is nothing wrong with you at all. As long as your wife isn't putting pressure on you to quit, there is nothing wrong with her either. Be very careful to watch for symptoms though or it could get quite expensive. If she is showing any signs of sickness or disease, get her help right away.

As long as you can actually finish a project. I don't like to take on basket cases, but I have, the thing is to get the stuff up to snuff. I have friends with 50 guns in various states of decrepitude, and keep buying more.

Do you have the feeling that you need to attend group meetings?
Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?

Are the group meetings called gun shows or gun club meetings? I already attend those!

rumplehardt, as I mentioned above along with others, there is absoutely nothing wrong with you.

Just remember to keep a close eye on the wife, lest she become delusional. She sounds like a keeper to me though.
