9mm Brass wont fit into my Resizing Die??????????????????????

I picked up 1200+ - Allegedly "once fired" While sorting it and inspecting/culling out brass I ended up with about 600 or so unfired pieces .
upon resizing some I kept running into "MAL 85 9mm" that would not go into the Die and I will not force it. Any thoughts Please Chime in as I am at a loss here
Pretty sure the MAL is Malaysian surplus as I have plenty of 5.56 on hand

I don't quite follow. Carbide die or lube? Won't even start or just swelled at the base? Need a bit more detail.

OK but if they're carbide dies they should be fine. I'm using my Dillon right now with .45 and you get hard size and easy. No difference. I still think it's just a bit of base swell and you shouldn't worry. Which Dillon is it? Mine's a 550 RL. No bells and whistles. Older one.
