    Hammer strikes

Here are detailed pics of the 1108196 unmarked WRA carbines hammer, and hammer strikes, does it appear any other hammers had struck? Can this be determined?

Only one type of hammer strike.

Noob question: Do hammer strikes only occur due to releasing the hammer with the TH removed from the receiver? Under normal use, the hammer doesn't go that far forward does it?
    Thanks, Bob

I've got some pictures here of my assembled trigger housing, and the hammer doesn't look like it goes forward far enough to hit the housing. I suppose the inertia of the rapidly moving hammer causes it to go farther forward while firing - correct? Thanks - Bob

Here's an Inland trigger housing that doesn't have any hammer strikes - maybe some don't get 'em??? I've shot at least six boxes of ammo with this gun since it was refurbished.

It has a circled B/R hammer, and I think that is a later replacement.

    Thanks, Bob
