A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. What's next, claymores in the food plot or the guy with the 105 in the blind? To top it all off some rich dude will get a license to make up a half dozen or so 500 lb. bombs ''for sporting use only'' and pay somebody with a B-17 $100,000 to fly him the corn pile at 20,000 feet.

It's not hunting, really. Just uber bubba. The terminal ballistics are better than expected, though, so it's of some value. Just not recommended for sporting purposes- too much chance of wounding w/o recovery.
