    Hope nobody falls for this

    Found this on Gunbroker:
    http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=214953480
Seller doesn't claim it's an original M1A1icon. Stock seems to give it away. I don't see the sharply defined and cut recess for the cheek piece that the originals have. Buy now for $2390, yeah right!

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... Serial number is IBM & I don't believe any original M1A1icon stocks were cut for M2 selector.

I'm sure that is a reproduction stock. Better pics would help.
I have seen original M1A1icon stocks that were M2 cut. That would probably have been done post WW2.
It is possible that an IBM could have been put in an M1A1 stock in a rebuild, but that one does not look to be a USGI stock.
Not good enough pics of the holster to tell if USGI. Real $200.00 and up, repro about $30.00
I think the seller is way off on the price. Gun dealers are like that. Whole package worth more like about $650.00/$700.00.....Frank

He has two for sale. They both look like repro stocks.

+1 Repro stock. The grain pattern is even the same as the repro stock I had. I saw that auction and didn't realize he was claiming it was real. I just thought he was smoking crack because he expected to get that much for a carbine in a repro stock.

    Yep, he's just fishing.
The other is a commercial Springfield Armory, Inc and the only thing he claims is 'original' is the sight, sling, and case.

Started at $2000 and BUY IT NOW for $2,390.00
