What's story on unmarked WWII 1907 slings ??
I'm curious what the wisdom is on the forum about unmarked leather 1907 slings with the steel hooks on them from WWII period. I have seen many of them that are unmarked and have seen them with makers markings on them as well ? What I am asking is if the unmarked ones are original or were they all maker marked without a doubt ??

Post a picture of the claw ends and about two inches behind them. I'll bet the marking is there but worn so that it can't be seen.
