It’s a hobby boys and girls! Most are here to learn. You were also nimrods at one point in time. Give this bullying BS a rest. Bill, this same advise has been passed on to the OP more than once.

    Don't Want To Make Enemies

Take a few minutes and read back through these posts, you'll not find a question asked that wasn't answered or instructions on How To? not given.

    Lastly,
How does one pass the ASE tests to become certified, but can't figure out how a carbine trigger spring tool works?

Just a little background being passed on from a egotistical self centered holier than thou fossilized antiquated pathetic individual who enjoys collecting and the study of USGI M1 Carbine.

Please note; I've Flamed no one in this thread.

You apparently don't realize how frustrating and angering it is to read "Does anybody have a Hi-Point?" or "What ammo kills zombies faster?" or "Can I use .308 in my 7.62?" or "Has anyone ever ordered from CMPicon" or "What's this worth?", etc., dozens of times on each forum. Learn to Google and Search for info first when you have a question. Thereafter, you will have more knowledge, fewer questions, better questions, and maybe even a few answers to contribute.
Man, if you guys are getting all "frustrated and angered" over redundant forum questions, I'd hate to see you if something really serious happened in your life. If you don't have something positive to say, don't say anything!

I positively think you should learn how to search for info, and learn to integrate yourself into existing communities that you wish to enter instead of expecting them to conform to your immature wishes. I am also positive that you aren't happy on any forums you enter, except for Mopar. That should tell you something. I never did like Mopars.

An ongoing issue on any forum anywhere but there are a few things you can do to help yourself.
    1. Lurk for a while, read, search and most of all ... think. It is laziness to not at least do a cursory search on the subject before firing off a question. We are all used to instant gratification these days.
    2. Whether it is at work or or the internet, you need to help yourself, it's when you don't understand or have a point to clarify you can be assured no one will bother you if you ask a question. I am relatively senior at my work and teach my staff to be self sufficient as it is quicker, more efficient and ultimately, more rewarding to them as they learn and keep the interest. They don't like it all the time but they do like becoming familiar with a subject they had difficulty with in the beginning. I am always there to help when they struggle but I won't do their work for them. In an oblique way, internet forums are the same.
    3. Never bite back unless they have been personal. A hard one I learned over the years. Let a couple of zingers go past whilst you learn the lie of the land but report any personal immediately.
    4. Most of all : enjoy !

Really, we are here because we have an interest. I lurked here for a while before joining then watched the major players in the LE forum and saw that they took care of the newbies that took the time to search for something and couldn't get an answer. I then contributed to the forum later as I knew my contribution was going to a good place. I am still well aware of how ignorant I am abut LE and have great respect for the knowledge of the senior members there and enjoy reading their answers to other questions as well as mine. If I get lazy I expect to get spanked for it but will use it as a learning experience. Perhaps if I live another 100 years I might get as much knowledge on the subject as they do !
    my 2 cents worth.

PS: for a Ford person I love Mopars

    ROCKY321,

How about starting over from scratch and give it another try, there are very good people on this forum. Probably some of the most knowledgable on the Planet. Old age does that to some of us. Nobody wants to lose a good customer. Sometimes its better to just lay back and read the post's a while, get your knowledge base up and then ask some questions. i have gotten irritated at some times myself, that's when it's time to lay back and read the post's. You would be suprised at what you learn and let all the other people get into arguments until you know the answers. That's how we learn. I'd like to see you stay and dont go to another forum. Just my 2 cents worth.

Great thread. I left one of my favorite forums just for these reasons. Some of the forum elites would have you think they are direct descendants of John C. Garandicon and own the rights to every patent he ever received.
