Question matching ballistics for original sights?

    Quick newbie question:

I have just acquired a Smith Corona 03A3 with issue sights. What bullet, weight, and velocity should I load for best accuracy with these sights?

    Thanks

Accuracy & registering with the sights are two different things! Order some of the M2 ball ammo from the CMPicon; that's the ammo for which the rifle & sights were designed. Ammunition Sales

At short range, out to 300 yds or so, commercial 150 gr ammo will be close.
