WTK: Prices for Carbine Jeep Scabbards ?

Have located a leather WWII Jeep scabbard in pretty good condition and wanted to know if anyone could tell me how much these are selling for or their value. This one has the lower strap missing but they rest is in nice condition although the markings are very faint on it.
How much should I pay for one of these ?
    Thanks for your help !

About 10-15 years ago a bunch of repros came in from overseas. When you spend money, make sure you get an original.

Thanks Bill, this one is the real deal as the leather is dry and hardened somewhat from its age !

Over the last 2-3 years, I have seen them go for anywhere from $300 to $500 IF the scabbard is in great condition and IF all the straps are there. Beat-up versions with only some, or no, straps, well less than that.

Best thing to do is to check "completed listings" on E-Bay for a while (print, print, print the results and hang on to them--older listings are hard to recreate). That is not necessarily what they are actually worth, but what people are willing to pay--sometimes quite different numbers.

Edit; as always, if you can post photos, you'll get better advice.
