Argentine Garand in caliber 7,65 ?

That rifle and a Johnson M1941 type, plus a StG 44 were all covered in an article by Martin K.A. Morgan. This was published in the Summer 2009 volume of the GCA Journal. I'm sure they will sell you a back copy and mail it to Germany. Prototypes were made by the Argentine military small arms plant in Rosario .(F.M.A.R.)

The same issue covers a Korean made M1 type rifle.

I guess that F.M.A.R. stands for something like "Fábrica de Munición y Armas de Rosario"

But what does D.F.G.M. stand for?

D.G.F.M. = Direccion Gereral de Fabricaciones Militares, (General Directorate of Military Manufacturing)
