Some Items on Joe Salter Site

Been looking over some items on the Joe Salter site, after looking at the AO/IBM posting by Garandrew.
Thanks Garandy......... I wasn't familiar with that site.

Click on the link below.... Then click on the M1icon CARBINE PARTS selection on the left.
    JoeSalter.com

They have a nice early RMC made for QHMC I cut Hi-wood stock.... item # 14633,
though it is advertised as a early Rock Ola stock. It is on the pricey side but a hard stock to find.
After looking, I'd say there are some pretty fairly priced stocks over all.
Look closely at some of the 'Unknown' carbine stocks.

Did notice quite a few barrels and receivers.
This SG receiver made for Inland serial number 945412X is a interesting find... item # 9413
but at a cost of $395.

    FWIW,

He has good stuff, some of it is pricey. I have bought from him and the quality was very good.

Funny, Hey PBI, I am looking for four to eight blued round Winchester bolts. Any one have some in a junk bin they will sell me. Everytime I go to China Mart, they are out. I just don't understand that.

Funny you ask I just sold six complete round Winchester bolts yesterday for $300.00 which was $50 each. They were nice and blued with correct extractors and firing pins.

    Hey Paul,
I didn't study all the items listed, just quickly glanced them over.
Before today I had never heard of Joe Salter.
    Have I missed something?
Or should I give his items a better look over?
I think I've obviously missed something.....

    Thx,
    Charlie

I don't know how long he has been in business but his son is a nice guy. Be sure to look at pictures and ask questions about markings because they don't know alot about carbines. The parts I have been getting are really good.

I got a original 96% finish unstaked Underwood T receiver from salter for $275, bought a donor carbine(drilled receiver, its for sale on GB) and swapped barrels and parts and now have a orig looking Undwerwood T and some stocks-were all great-I thought cheap-some stuff they put stupid prices on both ways-
