    Ra 1942 .45 acp

A friend of mine picked up a Spam Can with Chinese writing on the can. Inside were .45 ACP with the head stamp RA 42. The rounds were in 42 round boxes with no writing on the boxes. The rounds are brass and not steel. Any ideas what he may have picked up?

RA is either A/S Raufoss Ammunisjonsfabrikker, Raufoss, Norwayicon or Remington.
