Its not too difficult, once you get the license info you can do the registration over the phone/online, where they also have to complete the transfer and verify who they are. Once they have called in and completed the transfer, you can ship it using Canada Post, in a cardboard box. The only rules for shipping, is that it needs to be sent with a signature required. Isn't it now illegal in the US to import rifles with a bayonet lug, because they are assault weapons or some bs like that?

Schwehn, Some military style semi-auto weapons are not importable but curio and relic military bolt action rifles are not a problem at this point in time. Brian

That bit expired a couple of years ago and has not been renewed, but there are efforts underway to do so.
