22 inch MARK 2 cartridges

Kynoch & co.(Imperial Chemical Industries Ltd.). I don't think they used .22 match at that time.

Yes, standard British military issue training ammo. Equivalent to Eley Club, perhaps a bit greasy by modern standards. Was very reliable, but of course yours is now 32 years old.
