    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. AAA's are forecasting very bullish prices considering that the AUD$ is now $ for $ with the USD$.

    there's some deals, I'd buy these two for those year dates, even at the price
    543 = Lithgowicon SMLE NO.1 MKIII* RIFLE: 1953; 10 shot; 25.2" barrel; f. to g. bore; thinning military finish to metal; all complete; exc wo & cond. #F39741 matching L/R =

    544 = LITHGOW SMLE NO.1 MK.III RIFLE: 1913; 303; 10 shot; 25.2" barrel; vg bore; black military finish; with mag cut off; matching bolt; no number to nose cap; extensive, clear butt markings; exc wo & cond. #926 L/R

    and then I also see;
    732 = no 32 scope, 811 = no1 mkV 1924, 832 = HT, 834 = longbranch TP sniper, 838 = urk but rare and intersting I think, 861 = lithy new 43,

    interesting cross range of rare enfields, wow.

    Hmmm, very nice... I noticed buckets of great gear at this auction, seems to be heaps more than in previous auctions. i wonder if the No4 T's will go for those high predicted prices? All seem higher than market price. It will be interesting to see.

    Guess I will buy a Lottery ticket today.
    Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?
