    Krag range report

    Had a day at the range and got alot accomplished. Here is some of it.

    Nice shooting with cast bullets. Te Kragicon rifle really adapt well to cast bullet applications. Keep submitting your range reports Enjoy

    Thanks Mike. I'm glad that you appreciate it. I'm thinking of upping the H4198 to 24grs and see if that might make a difference.

    Hello,
    nice shooting, I want say that my Kragicon 1898 is normally in3/4 inches at 100 meters, in competition I always put 16 rounds in the 9 and 10 of the target, the 9 is 4 inches, the ten 2 inches( 10 and 5 centimetres) I have many targets whit 12/13 rounds in the ten. I think that at medium range Krag rifles are more accurate than 1903.
    I shoot lapua D166 in my Krag, Viht N150 39,4 grains CCI BR2 and 2100 feet at the muzzle,maximum load I think but really accurate.
    Please, don't use this reloading before you test the pressure starting by 3/4 grains less, Lapua D166 is 309,5 don't forget it.

    I don't take anyones load info off of the internet so you need not worry. That can be a sure receipe for disaster. Even manuals can have typos that can have bad things happen.

    It only need to use the head, it is not difficult.
