I like Bigduke´s idea and it is fun to compare with good and experienced shooters like you and all the other lads! Can´t await to see some target pics. Its a hard decision which one to use at first, but i´ll take all my rifles out and send the rounds down the range.

Why? You will have to work hard to find a load that is even as good as GP11, let alone better. My 96/11 is the only one of my old service rifles for which I use the original military ammunition - the GP11. To describe this as "surplus" is an insult to the quality of this ammo. Just get yourself a lifetime's supply of GP11, and you have one rifle+ammo combination which you will never have to worry about. My supply of GP11 cost me less than the components would have done, and the quality is, quite simply, excellent.

I'm well acquainted with the many fine qualities of GP11 ammo. That is why I use it to test the accuracy of every new Swiss rifle that I buy. However, the management of the range where I shoot the military silhouette match does not allow FMJ ammo to be used on the silhouette range--soft point and hollow-point only. I'm not sure that FMJ is any harder on the silhouettes than SP or HP, but the rules are the rules.
I've had good luck with load development for the 7.5 Swiss round with a little work can usually develop a load that shoots about as well as GP11 and is a bit less per round.
