over spent my eBay limit but I got this in the mail today

I have to wonder why I can get things from the UKicon and Australiaicon almost as fast as I can from here in the U.S. for only slightly more in shipping costs.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. postage costs from the US blows my mind. I just tried to buy a freeland scope stand from a US based supplier, the cost of postage was almost the cost of the product, and the stand was 125 US, and yet the same product from the UKicon ost about 30 bucks to post to AUS, not the 95 these other jokers were after.

It's mint though. It will be perfect. I had a few years ago and whenever you put them on a new rifle they zeroed in a flash and stayed dead on.

I remember buying my first 5C from SIR in Winnipeg for $25.00 which was alot of money for me in 1961.
Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?

We used to see all of them around here. AJ Parker, Alf Parker, 5A, 5C, 5E and now...nothing. I had quite a few over time but all gone now. I had a 5C that went on an old type body cover (C.2) for the F.N.C.1 and that would zero a rifle in about five rounds. Very accurate. Apparently they were made locally for the rifle team.
    Regards, Jim
