    Question WINDAGE SIGHT REPAIRi

I have an un-pinned windage sight that is missing its adjusting wheel (sheared off). Anyone know of a source of parts so i can repair it?

Terry Abrams here did offer a kit of spare parts for repairing these. I have to say that he's terrible at replying to phone calls or faxes (or he just has a policy of not answering) and he doesn't do email at all, so you have to see him in person at a show.

When you said it was sheared off, were you referring to the pin which holds the windage wheel to the threaded shaft, and if so, I just finished repairing mine and have a wheel and pin left over. If the pin was sheared because of high resistance caused by buggered threads, you might have to lap the threads in with some valve grinding compound then cold blue the shaft after a good cleaning.

Leave me a PM if interested, no charge for the part; we'll mark it up to international relations if you'll but pay the postage. If you don't have any Yank dollars, I'll take Britishicon pounds or Euros, as it's likely to be some time before I get back to Oz. Actually, I don't think the postage will amount to more than a can of lager so we can forego that as well. I used to mail packages to a mate in the ACT and that got quite pricey, but an envelope won't amount to more than a couple of A$.

Just give me your info in a PM and can get it in the post this week if that's what you need.
