Exclamation Johnson M1941 (CGN Private Ad)

    Ad posted on CGN ....

Be cautious with this seller. He tried to sell/trade us an item that he didn't even own. He dragged us out for over 6 months while we sat with his end of the bargain all packaged up and ready to go. He kept emailing excuses about CFC transfers not being done etc., before he finally admitted the real issue, which was he didn't even own the rifle he was offering. Never even apologized ...

Perhaps our experience was just an anomaly and he's an upstanding guy, but then again, perhaps not ...

    Seller says:

Very nice shape, I will post pics later today so dont pm for pics.
    All original nothing touched
    $2900 shipped

    Badger

I know of this particular gun. Jason at Gunco tells me it's REALLY nice as Johnstons go.

Yup, it's not the gun that concerns me. as it might be a real winner. I'd just recommend that any serious buyer enquire as to whether the seller actually owns it right now, or is just seeing whether he can "flip" it in a pre-sale deal without currently owning it, as he did with another piece with us.

    BTW, here's the pics.....
