    8 Gun Carbine Display

This is how my Display Rack looks now thanks to Ruby Swamp Wood Works. I used two 3 Gun Racks, and one 2 Gun Rack, and a little help with some bricks for spacing. Top to Bottom are: Rockola, Quality, Standard Products, Inland, National Postal Meter (White Bag), IBM, Winchester 6.5 (White Bag), and Inland (DCM hand me down from my Dad).

    Rusty,

Looking at picture #4 the table is bowing under the weight. Hate to see a nice group like that take a fall.

Jim, That table has been bowing ever since my large butt stood on it once. If it will hold me, it will hold those Carbines - LOL

Outstanding collection Rustship! You came up with a very nice way to display them together.

Also, I really like seeing carbines with the later features in collections. I think I'm a minority sometimes but I appreciate carbines with the later features as much as carbines with early parts.

When I still had a my collection I was trying to get one each of every maker I could find, or afford, and I didn't care so much if it had later features. I liked having carbines I felt were in the same condition as when they left service.

One of each means he will need a few more racks. Then watch that table bend. Such a dilemma.
