    M7 Launcher

I was at a show last month in Ohio and found this lined out M 7 launcher.

Can't say as I have ever come across an X'd out one before. Any thought's on it, value?

    Thanks, Jim

The AH CORP M7 Launcher is scarce, the AH CORP is shipment to IBM. The other launcher is HawleySmith Machine from IBM. This information is from an article by Bill Ricca for the GCAicon Newsletter in the Spring 1987 issue.

    gas cylinder lock screw

If you are going to collect the early M7, finding the early variation of the gas cylinder lock would be a nice addition. Difficult to find now but still around. Attachment 23889Attachment 23890

Good point, Robert. The first lock screw didn't close by itself, the first round of ball was supposed to close it. It didn't always work. They are scarce, but as you say, you can still find them. Look for an S on the front.

    M7

I hadn't saw any of those at a gun in a while. But at the last show one dealer had a BIG box filled to the top and running over with M7s. Looked kind of odd to see so many of them now.
Since I didn't remember what ones were rare or hard to find. Also because they were all rusty and I didn't want dirty. I didn't even stop and check them out.

I guess if I had to sit in a box all those years, I might be rusty too.

Those early versions of the lock screw have always been quite scarce:

Many were altered to Poppet style.

SA produced approx 35,000 versus probably 7-8 Million (maybe more) over the many years of Poppet production.
