Looking for SRS data
Attachment 23904Attachment 23905Attachment 23906This SA 1903 serial number 825055 with a SA 3-18 bbl fits into the known serial number ranges of USN/USMC rifles but still unable to find a SRS "hit".

Would you specify the high & low of the serial number range you're referring to?
I seem to recall others referring to it, as well, but have forgotten the details / source.

Best you can get is 825058 in 1940 being sent from Ft. Shafter to Ba. or 825046 in 1933 New York state Govs. island. SRS book 4 1999 edition on pages 128-129 lots of USMC but also lot of 12th. cav. so if no hit no way to tell where it was. Book one has a section on USMc rifles in Nicaragua 543xxx to 10037xx but not one rifle in the 825 range.

Thanks for the information (and thanks to eb215 for the emails and information) I forgot to say that this receiver has the Hatcher hole which got me thinking USN/USMC. The stock is not the factor because like M1 rifle stocks, they can be changed
