    Well its here! and lets just say pictures can be deceiving... The barrel has a bunch of rust on it. At the muzzle end the rust is deep enough to want to put the barrel in a lathe to clean it up. Obviously not a Stainless Barrel.

    The Big Mystery over what the thing is chambered for was solved in an instant when I turned the barrel over and stamped on it clear as day was "30-06"


    No trigger assembly or bolt keeper came with it. Not a big deal as easily aquired. A local guy has a huge tupperware tub of Mauser parts. The charger guide I believe is still there. I do have the bottom metal and two magazine doors one with a spring and follower

    Now to seriously think about what I want to do with it.

    The price was right so I guess it has to be a great deal.
