    Type 97 Sniper Scope value?

I have a Japaneseicon type 97 sniper scope in my collection.
I have had this for over 10 years. I am considering selling it to raise
funds for another project. I am wondering what the ballpark value on
    this might be.
The scope is in VG condition. The rubber eyepiece is, of course, missing.
It was made by TAKATIHIO, Tokyo. Marked 2.5 x 10. SN is in the 6000 series.
The case is a green fabric in excellent condition, with a cleaning brush.
I will try to post pictures this evening or weekend.

    Thanks, Chubby 308

Wish I could help you out regarding prices, but I haven't kept track. My info is probably 6-7 years out of date. Cases are rather rarer than the scopes, though!

JMoore, thanks for looking. I have heard the same thing about the cases being harder
to find. This is one of those problem items, in that they come up so rarely there is very
little info on value. The prices I have found on the net are both old and scary.

    Thanks again
