    X2 what Badger said. There are alot of fake M94's out there. I spend nearly two years finding the real deal here in Canadaicon and then still had to rebarrel the carbine. Another great source of information is a book by Dana Jones "Crown Jewel The Mauser in Sweden". An excellent book and must have for anyone collecting or interesting in Swedishicon Mausers. FYI, it's also the most "correct" as far as information goes.

    A note of encouragement, these little carbines really do shoot as well as all the claims say they do. Actually amazing that a 100 + year old rifle can out shoot many of the modern rifles!
