    Ammo Cans

    Hello All,

Just had a qiuck question reguarding .50cal ammo cans. I have two of them with locking lids but the lids hinge open on the long side of the can vs the short side that is typically seen. They are marked .50 cal and have other US markings. What would these be for? Some type of machinr gun? Just asking as I have not seen this style before.

    Thanks.

You have the WWII style can. They have a premium on them. A lot of Yugoicon 30-06 came in a few years ago in these types of cans.

$20 and up, depending on condition and the sanity of the buyer.
