Bore Pics -- Showing Off a Bit! W00T!

    Hello,

I got done cleaning out my Gewehr 88's bore. To check any work I do, I usually use macro pictures as well as magnifying tools.

This bore actually went back to almost-new condition. The rust that was on it hadn't penetrated too far down -- looks like it was maybe just there from sitting unprotected for a year in a gunshop, assumed to be a parts gun!

    I am rather thrilled.

This means my rifle is in 95% or better condition -- on of the better ones out there -- and the bore is not nearly as bad as I thought!

The only problem is that it's not all matching, but no biggie. I probably wouldn't shoot it otherwise!

    Not bad for $37.50, eh?

    Regards,

    Josh
