Working on this one for me

This HI low wood has a bad break that I'm going to repair. When I'm done it will never break in the same place.
These pics are after being cleaned and bleached. I have wedges inside holding it apart to dry.
After it dries I will glue, clamp and put in two pins that won't be seen when the handgaurd is on. The breaks should not show when it's done.
I will work on this one in between working on others and add pics as I progress.

In the spirit of collecting, everyone have a great weekend.....Frank

Hi Rusty, yes this one is alot like you Q-RMC except the break runs through on both sides. I'm going to put threaded pins in this one behind the band spring. I'll keep adding pics as I work on it.

    Have a great labor day.....Frank

Well it got a little rainy here today so this is what I worked on. It's done and ready to go back into service. After the last fill and oiling the crack on the right is almost invisable, looks like the one on the left.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.....Frank
