Restoration of a Long Lee-Metford MkII?

Is there any source for original or reproduction stocks for a Long Lee-Metford Mk II?
I am considering trading for a Long Lee-Metford MkII, the fore stock has been sanded, and cut back just in-front-of the forward volley sight. The butt stock also had been sanded but the markings are faint but visible.

I would need a fore stock, middle barrel band, combination muzzle cap and bayonet lug, proper magazine, and clearing rod.

I wasn't aware they changed the term "Cleaning Rod" to "Clearing Rod".

Its a tall order maybe impossible but one can only ask.

I would appreciate opinions from any member or your friends with previous experience.
I will add pictures at a later point.
    Thanks
    Al

I have just about completed my restoration of my 1895, Mk II, Long Lee-Metford. I am looking for three things to finish the job. I need the short top wood, a magazine with the loop and chain to attach to the rifle, and a cleaning rod.
I'll take some pictures if anyone is interested?

I'm very interested...would really like to see pics. Mine's an 1893 BSA&M converted to a CLLE MkI by Vickers in 1911.

    Long Lee-Metford Mk II

Here are some of the pictures of my Long Lee-Metford Mk II rebuild.

In this picture you can a sliver of wood is missing from the stock. I have not figured out how to replace it. I found an end cap for a Long Lee yesterday and it had the stacking swivel I need for the Metford.

Plus a picture of my near mint Pattern 1888 bayonet for my Long Lee-Enfield 1896 No1 Mk1

Very good looking rifle but magazine lee medford mk II do not have safeties also to the best of my understanding they were not made in 1897. The magazine lee enfield mk 1 or mk 1* was made in 1897.

The clearing/cleaning rod are extremely rare. Most collectors in my area do not have them at all.

I have three magazine lee medford mk II all dated 1893.

    Pictures of an 1895 Long Lee-Metford and a 1896 Long Lee-Enfield

Here are some pictures of the Long Lee-Metford, and the Long Lee-Enfield.
When I received the cut down Lee-Metford, it had a butt stock from a Long Lee-Enfield, with a 1897 date and the following markings.

The Metford MkII didn't have a safety but the MkII* did. This MkII was manufactured in 1895 and probably had an upgrade with a MkII* bolt with a safety. According to Skennertons book on Enfields, the Britishicon only manufactured 13,479 MkII* Metford long rifles. The British had a history of modifying existing rifles in their arsenals. The serial number matches the Metford rifle but the style of the numbers on the bolt dos not match. For my Metford I need the short top wood (hand guard). If someone has a top hand guard like my Long Lee-Enfield, I would really appreciate sending me a PM.
