    Attachment 26931Attachment 26932

I recently purchased a Standard products carbine and need some help with id, serial number is 22012##, barrel is marked Underwood 5-44, magazine has S-P, handguard is stamped S-HB, but the stock looks like it was lightly sanded or worn is marked std pro rwh with a 10 in the slingwell. Any chanced the stock is original??

The stock is not original to your SP carbine. The OI is for an Inland stock and the hand guard was made for IBM. The STD stamp means the carbine went through a rebuild post war at Standard Products. The barrel is a replacement as SP stopped carbine production a month before the barrel was made.

Hand guard is correct for a Standard Products, they are marked S-HB.
