Of the 100 or so N9s sold off by the NZDF back in 2008 none that i noticed were made from No4 Mk2s & i was looking to fill 2 gaps in my collection with the one rifle.

I was really surprized at the auction, i had read up on them before going, even re-read after just to make sure, just as a extra bit of info, there was also one converted from a Mk1* cant remember if it was a Savage or Long Branch.

All of the ones I've seen including mine have been conversions of straight No.4Mk.1 service rifles.
