hello all thought it would be relevant to introduce my self here as i will be getting a SC 1903a3 for my anniversary. any way don't have the rifle yet but wife has it on layaway.

I was fortunate in that regard ... my first .45, my wife threw in half and even my mother-in-law contributed a few bucks!!

yes she is great and i think she appreciates me wanting a 1903 as opposed to my other choice which was a M1A, but she comes from a gun loving family
