    NM Lyman 48??

Got a strange Lyman 48 sight at a yard sale. No Lyman markings, and my Old Gunsights book says that some NM Springfields had a 48 with no Lyman logos, and mismatched assembly #s under the slide. Fits this description, looks like a Springfield base. Some bluing wear. Anybody need one of these?? Will post photos if interested.

Slight edit to the post--it does have a Lyman logo on the slide, and tiny Lyman, pat. etc on the top of the base, but no 48 stamping. Looks like an early type 2, and it has a groove in the top of the base where the stripper clip cutout is on the receiver. Senior moment...

Does the slide go to 125 or 150?
