    Repo ammo packages

I have seen a lot of carbine items repo'd. Never expected to see paper ammo boxes though. As you can find originals pretty easy still. But if there is a market some, Entrepreneur will find a way to tap into it.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Thanks for noticing. I actually had these boxes made up for my personal use because I'm a re-enactor with a 1944 Inland and wanted something more "authentic" to hold my ammo. Since the die for the box, plus 2 separate labels, required a minimum quantity more than I could ever use, I decided to offer them to other carbine collectors and re-enactors. They are selling well, and the feedback is positive. Guess I lucked out and filled a niche. I've noticed on the collector forums that carbine guys "love" their "War Baby" , so I guess my boxes are another low cost accessory that is now in the pipeline. Enjoy! Charlie
