1903 Recent Florida Gunshow purchase
Attachment 27220Attachment 27221 Hello Milsurp friends....I've added a couple of pics of the M1903 Springfield that I recently bought at a gunshow here in Florida. It was mounted in a sporter stock, so, I placed it into a C stock that I had at the house. It is a 1932 SN (1416620 SA 6-31 Barrel {1 on MZ gauge}). The target in the pic was fired at 100 yards......21 clicks up on the PJ O'Hare micrometer and 1 Point Right Windage. Would probably shooter better in the hands of a better marksman. Anyway......it is a nice shooting...and a nice looking rifle.

Yes....it is an original PJ O'Hare micrometer. The stock is Pre WWII judging by the "S" in the cut-off indent. When I noticed that the barrell date & serial number were close and then measured the muzzle wear, I was anxious to make the guy an offer.
