Ditto, not to me either. Looks like he whizzed on it and buried it in the garden for a while and kept whizzing on it. He then cleaned it up and put the ridiculous price of $125.00 on it. Scandalous!

As someone that is not really experienced in m1 carbines, let-alone spotting fake parts, what led you to the assumption that is is a repro? Im not intening to question your judgement, just curious.
If you have an original sight then compare it to the one in the picture and it doesn't matter which maker it was made for. If you don't have an origianl sight then try and find photos of origanl rear sights and compare them and you will see the big differences.
